Apple's iPhone 15 launch is fast approaching. On September 12, the new edition of the smartphone will be unveiled globally, directly from Cupertino, California (USA).
Among the rumors surrounding the arrival of this device, the possible inclusion of Dynamic Island in conventional models, a new titanium casing designed for the iPhone 15 Pro and the long-awaited adoption of the USB-C charging input on the devices stand out.
Additionally, there are a number of small improvements expected to enhance the phones' performance.
Increased Processor Power
With the launch of a new generation of iPhones, there is also an evolution in chipsets.
In this context, Apple revealed during the event the A17 Pro, its new processor that promises exceptional performance and includes support for Ray Tracing, as well as technology that improves the quality of games like Genshin Impact.
Additionally, it was announced at the event that the new Apple devices will support running popular games such as Assassins Creed Mirage, Resident Evil 4, and Village.
However, there is one caveat: as with the previous generation, only the 15 Pro models received processor updates.
There’s one important caveat, though: this new processor is only available on the Pro models. That doesn’t necessarily mean buyers of the more “basic” models will be left behind, as the A16 Bionic is still incredibly powerful.
However, given that this is a considerable investment, those who opt for these more affordable models will miss out on the opportunity to acquire the more advanced and efficient processor present in the higher-end models.
New Color and Finish Options
iPhones are now available in new color options. The entry-level models come in a choice of five colors: Black, Blue, Yellow, Pink, and Green, all of which except Black feature soft pastel hues.
It's notable that Apple is gradually abandoning the extravagant colors we used to see in its previous lines, but this change may please those who prefer a more sober design.
As for the Pro models, they come in four color options: Natural Titanium, Black Titanium, White Titanium, and Blue Titanium.
In the Pro models, it is clear that Apple has made a significant investment in offering extremely attractive and stylish colors, raising the standard of smartphones to a higher level.
To complete the perfection, all that would be missing would be a version in a dark red tone, something closer to wine, which would certainly add a touch of sophistication.
Furthermore, it is worth noting that, for the first time, Apple has adopted a titanium finish on its most premium models, replacing the traditional glass. This choice further elevates the level of sophistication of smartphones to an exceptional level.
Screen Brightness Enhancement
The iPhones 15 showed a significant improvement in screen brightness.
The models considered more “basic” now enjoy the 2,000 nits of brightness that were previously exclusive to the previous generation Pro models.
On the other hand, regarding the iPhone 15 Pro models, no information was provided about changes in this aspect, which suggests that they maintained the same 2,000 nits brightness capacity as the previous generation.
New volume lever
Apple made a point of highlighting a new feature, which is the replacement of the lever to put the volume in silent mode, now done using a simple button.
However, this new button allows the customization of its functions, adapting to the user's preferences.
This way it can be configured to turn on the flashlight, capture photographs, activate the magnifying glass, translate texts and, of course, put the device in silent mode.
It's important to note that this innovative button is a feature exclusive to the Pro models, while the non-Pro models continue to use the traditional lever that the company has adopted over the years.
It's possible that Apple plans to extend the presence of this button to its entire product line in 2024, when the iPhones of the 16th Generation.
New Generation Operating System (iOS 17)
With the launch of a new iPhone, a new iteration of its proprietary operating system is also introduced, in this case, the 17th Generation iOS.
One of the most notable new features is the ability to customize the call screen, allowing users to choose an image that will be displayed to people receiving their calls.
Additionally, you can now select images from your gallery and easily convert them into stickers for use on your favorite social networks.
Another important highlight is the introduction of the new function called NameDrop within AirDrop. With this feature, when you bring your iPhone close to someone else's iPhone, contacts are shared and exchanged instantly.

What will be the price of the iPhone 15 Pro Max?
So far, no official information has been released about the price of the new iPhone 15 Pro Max, as well as the other variants in the line.
However, the expectation is that the price of the cell phone will remain the same or possibly be a little higher compared to the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which was launched at the end of 2022.
The iPhone 14 Pro Max prices were as follows: R$ 10,499 (128GB), R$ 11,499 (256GB), R$ 13,499 (512GB), and R$ 15,499 (1TB).
