What is PIS/PASEP 2024?
O PIS/PASEP In fact, there are two programs, which are intended to cover the cost of employment benefits.
In the case of PIS (Social Integration Program), this is intended for workers in private companies.
PASEP (Public Servant Asset Formation Program) is aimed at funding benefits for public sector employees.
Both programs provide an identification number to the worker, and it is through this number that benefits such as unemployment insurance and salary bonuses are granted.
Who is entitled to the Salary Bonus in 2024?
Previously we saw that the PIS/PASEP is responsible for paying a benefit, the Salary Bonus.
Therefore, the Salary Bonus is a benefit that offers additional payment of up to 1 (one) minimum wage per year for workers who receive up to 2 (two) minimum wages per month.
The value of this benefit varies according to the months worked, so that 1 minimum wage is divided into 12 parts, one for each month.
Therefore, if the worker worked for 12 months in the last year, he will be entitled to the full benefit, but if he only worked for 3 months, he will be entitled to the proportional benefit for these months.
