Check who can receive Gas Assistance
The main objective of Vale Gás is to mitigate the impact of the increase in cooking gas prices on the budgets of families living in poverty and extreme poverty.
This aid corresponds to 50% of the national value of a gas cylinder and uses the structure of the Auxílio Brasil program to make payments to beneficiaries.
To ensure receipt of this assistance, you must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Have a monthly family income equal to or less than half the national minimum wage per person;
- Be registered with CadÚnico (Single Registry for Federal Government Social Programs);
- Have at least one family member who is a beneficiary of BPC (Continuous Benefit Payment).
Single Registry – Who can do it?
The Single Registry (CadÚnico) is an instrument used by the Brazilian government to identify and characterize low-income families in the country.
It is used as a basis for selecting beneficiaries of social programs, such as Bolsa Família, Benefício de Prestação Continuada (BPC) and others.
Brazilian families that meet the low-income criteria established by the government can register for the Single Registry.
These criteria are generally updated annually and may vary depending on the region of the country and the social program in question.
FGTS withdrawal – Who can have it?
FGTS withdrawals can be requested by workers in various situations, such as unfair dismissal, retirement, purchase of their own property, serious illnesses, among others.
Rules may vary and it is important to check current legislation to see if you fall under any of them.
